Nick and Krista were incredibly easy to work with. From quote to finish, they were there walking us through every step of our foundation replacement. It is a stressful and difficult time, and they made it so much less of a strain emotionally. There was never a time I couldn’t reach Nick or his foreman if I had a question or concern. The subcontractors used were top notch and everything was done on or ahead of schedule. Nick’s knowledge of construction and specifically concrete is extensive. To explain to someone who never lived with a home that had a crumbling foundation is difficult. The financial burden placed due to this is easy to explain and understand, but the emotional aspect is impossible to convey. Our first call when we were looking for a remediation partner was to Mr. Nick Hany, owner of H-Con, LLC. From moment one of the initial conversations, we felt the genuine compassion that Mr. Hany had for our plight. Over the course of the next year, our interaction with Mr. Hany was always greeted with professionalism and consultation while all along understanding the stress the situation placed on us. When finalizing our agreements for remediation, I felt the process was explained in a through manner. I asked what seems like a thousand questions, yet Mr. Hany was always responsive and willing to take the time to help me understand. This was greatly appreciated. Mr. Hany and his team completed the remediation as planned and on schedule. The craftsmanship was excellent. But the real win for us was the attention to detail and coordination of all steps from commencement to final occupancy approval. I will never know for sure, but I am certain Mr. Hany took action we will never realize to end our long nightmare during the remediation process. Also, Mr. Hany was always available after completion. I thank Mr. Hany for all he did for us and highly recommend his firm for foundation replacement.
When our Crumbling Foundation application was approved we eventually chose H-CON, LLC. Upon meeting with its owner Nick Hany we sensed his professionalism, knowledge, patience (with our numerous questions & concerns), and his reassuring demeanor he would take special care of our yard as to not creat3e any more turmoil than necessary. Nick also suggested we not go forward in November due to the order temperatures and wait until the Spring. This showed us he was not concerned about making money, he was concerned for us.
H-CON arrived in March 2021 and immediately began working and preparing the yard and house for the foundation replacement. H-CON went out of the way to protect our irrigation system and in-ground pool. Nick was communicative, transparent and suggested different alternatives to what we had in place and how improvements could be made at no additional costs. When we called or texted Nick he immediately responded and provided answers.
We procured a 40 foot RV for the backyard and Nick saw to it water, electricity, sewer and cable were connected to make our lives as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Nick did not have to do this, but this is the type of compassionate person he is.
Each and Every sub-contractor (and their crews) Nick hired were just as professional, knowledgeable, friendly, hard-working, and engaging. We were back in our home in just under 10 weeks. Our yard was not near as dug up (destroyed) as other companies we have observed throughout the r4egion.
